100% alpine OOLONG TEA from the Alishan preserve / mountains of Jiayi County in Taiwan. Lightly oxidized, a creamy texture, rich taste, and delicate sweetness. Clear/pale greenish yellow cup, typical floral orchid notes, with brisk aftertaste. Many layers of flavor develop with each infusion. Beautiful “embroidered” wet leaf when fully exhausted, showing high oxidation on the leaf edges, when the inside of the leaf nearly green (semi-oxidized the hard way).

Package size is 3 ounces of full leaf tea, which yields approximately 37-38 first cups. Tin size is 2 ounces which yields about 50 first cups. Bulk one pound is available for about 200 cups, or half pound for 100 cups.
BREWING: One teaspoon for every 8 oz of boiling 180-190°F fresh water. Steep for 2-3 minutes or longer to desired taste. Up to six or more infusions are possible by increasing steep time 30 seconds to one minute each time.
