TEA IS THICKER THAN WATER
Why do we like tea? It’s the taste - as well as the response of mind and body. The flavor of a tea can be separated into two contributors: taste (non-volatile compounds, floating, detected by your tongue) and aroma (volatile compounds, detected by your nose and tongue).
What makes a tea taste like that? While it’s a little risky to generalize, there do appear to be some general truths as to why a tea tastes like that. Tea chemical compounds collectively give some idea of the source of certain flavors and aromas.
